Bathing Water Profile: Lady's Bay Bathing Water

The beach is adjacent to Buncrana town located in the Inishowen peninsula in Co Donegal, confined by Buncrana pier to the South and a small rocky outcrop to the north and has a path along the length of the beach.  Follow the signs for ‘Tra’ which is Irish for beach.  The beach is located within the Lough Swilly National Heritage Area (NHA). There are two significant rivers coming in to both ends of the beach, the Crana river at the northern side and the Mill river at the Southern side.   Activities include:  swimming, boating, jet skiing and a coastal walk which leads to Swan Park and to Ned’s Point.
